This little lantern is awesome. I’ve bought two of them so far. As well as a bunch of camping stoves from these guys. All super nice quality products with a great price point. Waaay cheaper than the competitors and great quality. Can’t wait to try their firefly lantern. Keep killing it guys I’ll be cooking on your stoves for a long time.

I get up pretty early in the morning. Many mornings I sit at a table on my front porch and enjoy the peace and quiet before the day begins. I have a number of small decorative oil lamps that use paraffin based oil - these are great for a little ambiance indoors. But they don't shed much light, aren't adjustable at all, and don't do well with a breeze. This little lantern excels at all the above. With the leather cover, it looks great even when it's not lit. It's adjustable from a small flame to a medium flame (plenty of light to read by) to a large flame that extends above the glass. The other evening, a friend and I sat on the porch and talked for several hours with this as our only light source. It was perfect. I love the vintage look and the heavier duty protective case of this new model. It's maybe a little heavy and large for backpacking, and may not shed enough light for cooking or playing cards. But for my purposes, this is ideal.

This is very nice well made piece of kit for sure. It’s not a necessity at all but it certainly looks nice as a camp light for occasional use.
