We want you to feel confident when purchasing from FireMaple. This policy explains our voluntary return process and any additional rights that may apply under local consumer law.
Order Cancellations
You may request to cancel an order before it has been shipped.
Please contact us as soon as possible at contact@fire-maple.com. We cannot guarantee that a cancellation request can be completed once order processing has begun.
After an order has been shipped, it can no longer be cancelled and must be handled as a return, where eligible.
7-Day Voluntary Return Window
Except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise, FireMaple offers a voluntary return window of 7 calendar days after delivery.
You must contact us within 7 calendar days after the date shown as delivered by the shipping carrier.
Returns requested after this period will not be accepted under our voluntary change-of-mind return policy.
This voluntary return window does not limit any mandatory rights you may have under applicable local law.
Return Eligibility
To qualify for a voluntary return, the item must:

Have been purchased directly from firemaplegear.com

Be unused, clean, and in resalable condition

Include all original parts, accessories, manuals, and packaging
-
Be accompanied by valid proof of purchase
We may refuse a voluntary return or reduce the refund if the item has been used, altered, damaged after delivery, or returned incomplete, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
Items purchased from Amazon, an authorized retailer, distributor, or another third-party seller must be returned through the original place of purchase and are subject to that seller’s return policy.
How to Request a Return

Photos or videos if the item is damaged, faulty, incorrect, or incomplete
Once your request has been reviewed, our customer support team will provide the appropriate return address and return instructions.
Return addresses vary depending on your location and the warehouse that fulfilled your order. Do not return an item to the address shown on the original shipping package unless we specifically instruct you to do so.
After shipping the return, please provide:

The shipping carrier

The return tracking number

A copy of the shipping receipt, where requested
We are not responsible for returns sent without prior notification, without tracking, or to an incorrect address.
Return Shipping Costs
For voluntary change-of-mind returns, including situations where you no longer want the item, ordered the wrong product, or selected the wrong size or model, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning the item.
If the product is confirmed to be faulty, damaged during delivery, incorrect, incomplete, or materially different from its description, FireMaple will cover reasonable return shipping costs where required.
We do not accept packages returned on a cash-on-delivery basis.
Original shipping charges are not refundable for voluntary returns unless required by applicable law.
Any customs duties, import taxes, brokerage charges, or handling fees paid directly to a government authority, carrier, or third party are generally not refundable by FireMaple.
Damaged, Faulty, Incorrect, or Incomplete Items
Please inspect your order shortly after delivery.
Contact us as soon as reasonably possible if an item is:

Faulty or not functioning as intended

Missing parts

Materially different from its description
Please include your order number and clear photos or videos showing the product, packaging, shipping label, and reported issue.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, we may offer:

Another appropriate remedy
Do not dispose of the item or its packaging until our customer support team has completed its review.
The 7-day voluntary return window does not limit any mandatory rights relating to faulty, damaged, incorrect, incomplete, or misdescribed goods.
Promotional Gifts, Discounts, and Bundles
If an order included a free gift or promotional item, the gift must also be returned unused and in its original condition when the qualifying order is returned in full.
If the promotional gift is not returned, we may deduct its stated retail value from the refund, where permitted by applicable law.
If a partial return causes the remaining order value to fall below the qualifying threshold for a promotion, free gift, or discount, we may recalculate the order and deduct the applicable promotional value from the refund, where permitted by applicable law.
Products purchased as part of a bundle must be returned in accordance with the conditions of that bundle. If only part of a bundle is returned, the refund may be recalculated based on the regular price of the items kept, where permitted by applicable law.
Return Inspection
Returned items will be inspected after they arrive at the designated return facility.
We may reject a voluntary return or reduce the refund if the returned item:

Shows signs of use beyond reasonable inspection

Is dirty, contaminated, or damaged

Has been modified or repaired without authorization

Is missing parts, accessories, manuals, or packaging

Cannot reasonably be resold because of its condition
These conditions do not limit any mandatory consumer rights available under applicable law.
Refunds
Once the returned item has been received and inspected, we will notify you whether the refund has been approved.
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
Please allow approximately 7–10 business days for the refund to appear after it has been processed. Actual processing time depends on your bank, card issuer, or payment provider.
FireMaple is not responsible for:

Foreign transaction fees

Currency conversion differences

Bank charges

Card issuer charges

Payment provider charges
If an approved refund has not appeared after the expected processing period, please contact your bank or payment provider first. You may then contact us for further assistance.
Exchanges
We do not currently offer direct exchanges.
If you would like a different product, model, or size, please request a return for the eligible item and place a new order separately.
Replacement products provided for faulty, damaged, or incorrect items are not treated as voluntary exchanges.
EU Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer located in the European Union, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from an eligible online purchase without giving a reason within 14 days.
For goods, the withdrawal period generally expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, receive the goods.
For an order containing multiple goods delivered separately, the withdrawal period generally begins after the final item is received.
How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us before the withdrawal period expires.
You may notify us by:

Using the “Withdraw from Contract” function available on our website; or

Emailing contact@fire-maple.com with a clear statement of your decision to withdraw from the purchase
Please include your name, email address, order number, delivery address, and the item or items you wish to return.
You do not need to provide a reason for exercising a valid statutory right of withdrawal.
Returning the Goods
After notifying us of your decision to withdraw, you must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the date on which you notified us.
You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods unless:

The goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect, incomplete, or misdescribed;

FireMaple has agreed to cover the return cost; or
-
Applicable law requires otherwise
You should use a tracked shipping service and retain proof of shipment.
Condition of Returned Goods
You may inspect the goods to determine their nature, characteristics, and functionality in the same way that you reasonably could in a physical store.
You are responsible for any reduction in value caused by handling the goods beyond what is reasonably necessary for that inspection.
Where permitted by law, we may reduce the refund to reflect this loss in value.
Refund Following Withdrawal
Where the statutory right of withdrawal applies, we will refund eligible payments received from you, including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered for the order.
Additional delivery costs resulting from your choice of express, expedited, priority, or another more expensive delivery method will not be refunded.
Where only part of an order is withdrawn, the original delivery cost may not be refundable if that cost would have been the same for the items you keep.
We will process the refund within the period required by applicable law.
We may withhold the refund until:

We have received the returned goods; or
-
You have provided evidence that the goods have been sent back,
whichever occurs first.
The refund will normally be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase unless otherwise agreed.
Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The statutory right of withdrawal may not apply to certain goods or services where an exception is permitted under applicable law.
Examples may include:

Goods made to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalized

Goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly

Sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons after the seal has been removed

Digital content supplied immediately after the consumer has expressly agreed to lose the right of withdrawal
An exception will only apply where the legal requirements for that exception have been met.
Local Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Return & Refund Policy excludes, restricts, or limits any mandatory consumer rights available under the laws applicable in your country or region.
Where any part of this policy conflicts with mandatory consumer law, the applicable mandatory consumer law will prevail.
