Why should I choose the X1 Pro over the original Star X1?

The primary upgrade is Stability. The X1 Pro replaces the classic "butterfly-style" wire handles with a single, rigid locking steel lever. It completely eliminates the wobble associated with wire handles, making it significantly safer and easier to pour boiling water.

Does it fit other pots or pans?

The Star X1 Pro is a closed, high-efficiency integrated system optimized for its own heat-exchange pot. By default, it does not include pot support legs for flat pans.
If you wish to use your own frying pans, we recommend purchasing our Universal Pot Stand accessory separately to ensure a safe cooking surface.

How fast does it boil?

It’s a powerhouse. It boils 0.5L of water in under 2 minutes and a full 1L in about 3.5 minutes, even in windy conditions.

What fuel does it use?

It’s compatible with any standard screw-on isobutane-propane canister. A small 100g/110g canister can even be tucked inside the pot for easy storage.

Please note that fuel is not included with your purchase; you can easily pick up a canister at major retailers like Walmart, REI, or local outdoor stores.

Is it "beginner-friendly"?

Absolutely. The twist-lock design and elongated handles mean zero complex setup and extra protection from steam—it’s truly a "plug-and-play" mobile kitchen.
