What type of stove is compatible with the Ramen pot, or which stove would you recommend?

The Ramen pot fits most 3-prongs(120°) and 4-prongs(90°) gas stoves. Fire-Maple Greenpeak series / Torch / Buzz / 116T / Polaris is compatible with the Ramen pot.

Which other brand stoves fit?

The base is designed to fit most popular 3-arm and 4-arm backpacking stoves, including but not limited to:

MSR: Pocket Rocket 2, Pocket Rocket Deluxe.
SOTO: WindMaster (Note: Must use the 4-Flex/4-arm clip. The 3-arm clip is not stable).

Is the lid plastic?

No. It has been upgraded to a durable Aluminum Lid with a heat-resistant silicone knob. No more worried about cracking plastic lids.

Can I use it for frying?

Lightly, yes. Because it is wider, you can sauté onions or meat easier than in a tall narrow pot. However, the heat exchanger is very powerful, so keep the flame low to avoid burning your food.
