Is it spacious enough for two real adults?

Yes, surprisingly roomy.

Width: It is 140cm (55 in) wide.

Comparison: Most lightweight 2P tents are only 120-130cm wide. The Tropics fits two standard (20-25 inch) sleeping pads side-by-side with extra room for gear, making it a "True 2-Person" tent, not a "1.5 Person" squeeze.

Is it waterproof?

Yes (PU 3000mm), but it stretches.

Material: The rainfly is made of 20D Sil-Nylon.
Nylon absorbs a tiny bit of water and relaxes/sags when wet or cold. This is normal for high-end nylon tents (unlike cheap polyester).

Fix: You must retension (tighten) the guy lines before you go to sleep if it starts raining, otherwise, the fly might touch the inner mesh.

Can I set it up in the rain without getting the inside wet?

Yes (Dry Pitch).

If you buy the Footprint (Groundsheet), you can set up the rainfly first, and then clip the inner tent underneath it. This is a huge pro for rainy climates.

How heavy is it?

1.95 kg (4.3 lbs).

It is "Lightweight" but not "Ultralight" (like a $600 Dyneema tent). It strikes a balance between durability (7001 Aluminum poles) and pack weight.
