Is the frypan non-stick?

The cookware uses a hard-anodized aluminum surface.

Until the exact coating specification is confirmed, do not treat it as a dedicated non-stick pan. Use a small amount of oil, cook over moderate heat, and avoid scraping the surface with metal utensils.

What are the ridges in the frypan for?

The raised grooves create contact lines beneath food and work well for sausages, vegetables, bacon, and similar camp meals.
