Star French Press Coffee Filter

It is designed exclusively for the Fixed Star X1, X1pro, X2, X2 pro and X3 Cooking Systems.

How does it work?

It converts your cooking pot into a French Press. Simply boil water in your Star pot, add coarse coffee grounds, wait a few minutes, and slowly press the plunger down to separate the grounds from the coffee.

Can I boil water with the press already inside? (⚠️ SAFETY WARNING)

No. Always remove the French press entirely while boiling water.
Why: Boiling water creates intense pressure and rolling bubbles. If the mesh filter is inserted during boiling, the water will surge up through the mesh and spill over, causing dangerous burns or extinguishing the burner flame. Plus, prolonged exposure to direct steam may warp the plastic components over time.
