Is the 600ml or 750ml measured up to the rim?

No, the 600ml/750ml measurement refers to the maximum usable capacity. The actual total capacity is slightly larger.

Can my petrel pot go in the dishwasher as I burnt some pasta to the bottom

We recommend NOT putting your petrel pot in the dishwasher, especially if pasta has burnt to the bottom. The high heat and strong detergents in dishwashers can damage the aluminum surface over time.

For burnt pasta, try soaking the pot in warm soapy water for 10-15 minutes to loosen any stuck bits. You can then gently scrub with a soft sponge or brush. If needed, a paste made of baking soda and water can help remove any stubborn residue.
By hand washing, you can ensure your pot stays in great condition for longer!

can the handle be removed (snapped on and off) from the G3? Reason being, I want to nest a Svea 123 inside but then the handle won't fold over. Thanks

Hi there, the handle on the G3 pot cannot be removed, as it is designed with a stopper in the middle to keep it secure. You can check out the 7th image in the product photos for a closer look at the handle design.

Will the G3 pot work with the stove the comes with the Polaris cook system?

Hi Brad, we wouldn’t recommend it. The G3 pot is designed with a base slot to securely fit canister stoves for added stability. While it can physically sit on the Polaris cook system, there’s a risk it might slip during use. Safety first!
