What kind of canisters should I choose?

It uses standard isobutane/propane backpacking canisters with a Lindal valve (EN417). It is compatible with most major brands found in outdoor stores (e.g., MSR, Jetboil, Snow Peak).

Is the pot body dishwasher safe?

No. Hand wash only. The harsh chemicals and high heat in a dishwasher will destroy the hard-anodized finish and ruin the insulated neoprene sleeve.

Can I use other pots or pans with the Star X2 Pro stove?

Yes! Just unfold the included Pot Support Adapter and lock it onto the burner. You can now safely cook with any standard flat-bottom camping skillet or pot.

What is the benefit of the heat exchanger at the bottom?

It maximizes fuel efficiency. The corrugated metal fins under the pot absorb heat that would normally escape up the sides, transferring it directly into your food or water. This boils water significantly faster and stretches your fuel supply.

Is the Star X2 Pro wind-resistant?

Yes. The wind resistance comes from the integrated design. When using the main 1L pot, it locks directly onto the burner head, creating a physical barrier that shields the flame from harsh mountain gusts.

Is the material safe for cooking?

Yes, the pot is made from hard-anodized aluminum, which is durable and easy to clean. The insulated neoprene sleeve prevents burns when handling the hot pot, and the lid is made from food-grade, BPA-free material.
