Which size should I choose?

Choose the 1.2L if you mainly boil and pour water, make coffee or tea, heat soup, or cook smaller meals. Its tall body, side handle, and integrated spout make pouring easier.

Choose the 1.8L for stews, pasta, rice, and larger camp meals. Its wider body gives you more room to stir and work with solid food.

Do both sizes include a steam grate?

Yes. Both sizes include a removable steam grate for holding food above boiling or simmering water.

Can both pots hang over a campfire?

Yes. Their folding bail handles can be suspended from a stable tripod or hook above a controlled fire. Check that the pot is balanced and the support is secure before adding food or water.

Can I heat the pot while it is empty?

No. Add water, food, or cooking liquid before placing the pot over heat. Dry heating can cause severe discoloration, distortion, or permanent damage.
