What type of fuel does the Saturn X use?

The Saturn X uses EN417 threaded isobutane–propane mixed gas canisters, which are widely available and commonly used for camping stoves.

How do I achieve the maximum 11,000W power output? |Can the Saturn X be used with an inverted gas canister?

The stove produces 4,400W in standard upright canister mode. To unleash the full 11,000W potential, you can invert the gas canister (turn it upside down) after the stove has warmed up (approx. 30 seconds). The dual pre-heat tubes allow the liquid gas to vaporize instantly, creating a powerful jet flame suitable for snow melting or rapid boiling.

Can I use 1lb propane tanks (green bottles) with this stove?

Yes, you can! To use 1lb propane cylinders (commonly used for car camping), you will need a propane adapter (such as the FireMaple Z1 Adapter). This is a popular setup for basecamps as propane performs excellently in colder weather.

Is this stove suitable for winter or cold weather camping?
