What does "Dualblaze" mean?

Dualblaze refers to the independently controlled inner and outer burner rings.

Use the inner ring for concentrated low heat, the outer ring for wider heat distribution, or both rings for maximum coverage and output.

Is 15 kW available in normal use?

No. Standard upright-canister operation is rated at 20,500 BTU/h (6 kW).

Up to 51,000 BTU/h (15 kW) requires a compatible canister, properly heated preheat tubes, and inverted liquid-feed operation. It is intended for short, high-heat tasks rather than routine cooking.

How do I use inverted-canister mode?

Connect a compatible EN417 canister and ignite the stove with the canister upright.

Allow the burner and preheat tubes to warm fully according to the operating instructions. Only then should the canister be secured and inverted.

Never ignite the stove with a cold, inverted canister, as liquid fuel may reach the burner before vaporizing and cause a large flare-up.

How much fuel does maximum output use?

Rated fuel consumption is 14.7 oz/h (416 g/h) upright and 36.7 oz/h (1,040 g/h) inverted.

Maximum output consumes fuel quickly, so use it for short high-heat tasks such as boiling a large stockpot or heating a wok rather than leaving it at full power throughout the meal

What cookware works best?

The platform supports cookware weighing up to 44 lb (20 kg), including stockpots, Dutch ovens, cast-iron pans, griddles, and carbon-steel woks.

Center the cookware and confirm that all supports and legs are fully engaged before lighting the stove.

What fuel can I use?

The standard connection fits EN417 threaded isobutane-propane canisters.

Butane cartridges, propane cylinders, or bulk LPG tanks require a compatible adapter specifically approved for that fuel container and stove connection. Follow the adapter instructions and never improvise fuel connections

Is the Vulcan suitable for cold weather?

The dual preheat tubes support inverted liquid-feed operation after proper warm-up, which can improve performance when cold temperatures reduce normal canister pressure.

This does not make output independent of temperature, fuel blend, or canister condition.
