I love how compact this is, easy to use does exactly what you need it to do!

A very good filter.
Double filtration (small holes on the body itself plus an internal mesh).
The residue from this filter is minimal - less than that from a home French press.

I wanted to get a titanium one from another manufacturer at first, but it has a single mesh. This one is much better, even though it's made of stainless steel.

Delivery is fast - 12 days.

It can be slightly modified to make it submersible (1 meter of copper wire was needed).
If you need it, go ahead.
If you do this, do not use wire to compress the filter - the entire structure is made separately, then placed on the filter and carefully secured.

Don't even think about stirring tea or coffee inside the filter with a spoon - you might damage the mesh. If you're stirring, do it gently - without touching the sides (it's better to just shake the filter itself, like a tea bag).

It arrived as scheduled on the espo flight. I think a slightly larger size would be good, but i think it's a good size for outdoor use. Even small mugs can be stacked.

Good coffee comes out through this filter. Of course, the filtration speed could be faster, but it's still okay. For now, you can filter the coffee into a small mug at a comfortable temperature.

Makes a decent cup of coffee and with just a quick rinse it's clean.

This is a great little device that makes my morning more enjoyable. How better to start your day then with a good coffee. It is light enough and works well. This and real coffee are one of my few luxury items on the trail

Thus far I have made only one cup of coffee with the filter. I bought it to replace foldable paper filters which I have been using but are not always possible to find. It is well made and sits on the mug just fine . I was curious if the grounds would dump out or need to be washed out . They seem to come out okay. I will try using a coarse grind next time to see if that makes a difference. All in all I think it is a well made addition to my camping/ traveling gear .

Cool filter for steep brewing in camping conditions. When you use it, you get aesthetic pleasure.

It is worth remembering that when using such filters, in order not to clog the mesh and not to have over-extraction, medium or coarse coffee grinding is needed.

It's a very satisfying way to make coffee. It cleans up well because the fine mesh doesn't let coffee grinds through at all.

Small, light, fits inside my Fire-Maple titanium cup easily. Works exactly as it should. As always keep up the good work!

I have this filter it's almost perfect it does filter well, but i find just to small, wish it was bigger, I have the paper filter pour over cup top also from fire maple also, I think if the stainless filter fit this piece it would be a perfect pair

This is a great filter for the best campfire coffee

This is all I use for both home and traveling. Goes with me to Newfoundland as I tour with my band. That tells you what I think of it.

This a quality tandem. Lightweight for motocamping, or backpacking.

Everything according to the order. The coffee brews well. Lightweight and doesn't take up much space. It served its purpose on the trip to the forest.

Just what i was looking for to replace my molded plastic and wire mesh MSR travel filter. The design, material and size of the Antarcti are perfect. Nests perfectly in my camp pot with other essentials. I use a paper filter in it for greater filtration, fill close to the top edge of the cone with a drip grind coffee (4tbs) and get a perfect 14oz cup…..
