Stove works well but instructions should include how to safely attach propane cannister without any leaking. My advice is to tighten the attached connector completely before attempting to screw in the propane cannister. My first attempt leaked propane until I fully tightened the connector. That solved the problem.

Just so you know

Works OK. I bought this to go with the Petral pot. Piezoelectric ignition didn't allow pot to sit down on the pot holder, had to modify.

We apologize for the inconvenience. Information about compatible stove types for the Petral pot is provided in the product link for reference. The 105 igniter is slightly too tall, which prevents the Petral pot’s slot from fitting perfectly with it.

The Petral pot is compatible with stoves that open to a 120° angle. Fire Maple recommends the following models: Hornet II, GreenPeak, Buzz, Polaris Pressure-regulator Stove, and Polaris Pressure Remote Stove.

A great stove

A great little stove. I was expecting this to be the Firefly lantern as I would have done a side by side comparison between that and the orange, but I've not received it yet proprietary. I will say with the stove, it is much larger than the ones that just fit on top of a bottle, which is what I wanted. It has an amazing output as well as stability which gives it the perfect balance. The only draw back I can see is that the heat output also makes the legs glow red hot.

Received My gas stove just recently, Wonderful small compact in it's own carry case. Just attach to my gas canister, turn on the gas boom instinct flame for cooking. I especially like that the legs fold out for raised cooking. Would I recommend the stove? Yes in a heart beat. I love this piece to my camp gear . If your packing lite - this stove is the way to go. This worked great! Normally we do our cooking directly on the campfire, but it's nice to have a way to heat water when you don't wish to build a campfire. Seems real solid, hopefully it will hold up a few years.
