What type of camping is the FMS-125 Quad designed for?

It is designed for 2–4-person group camping and campsite cooking with medium-to-large cookware. Its four-point support is suited to shared meals prepared with larger pots, grill pans and woks.

How is it different from the FMS-125 Pro?

The FMS-125 Quad adds four-point cookware support, an 8 kg load rating, an integrated preheat tube for inverted-canister use, and separate heat shields for the gas hose and folding piezo igniter.
The FMS-125 Pro remains available as a separate three-leg model.

What cookware can I use with it?

Use cookware at least 4.5 in / 11.5 cm in diameter and no heavier than 17.6 lb / 8 kg. It works with camp pots, Feast 4 cookware, the Portable Grill Pan and suitable woks.
Always center the cookware and confirm that it sits securely before ignition.

How does inverted-canister mode work?

The preheat tube helps vaporize liquid fuel before it reaches the burner, enabling inverted-canister operation at up to 5.3 kW. Ignite with the canister upright and preheat for at least five minutes before carefully inverting it.
Never invert the canister during ignition.

Does it have a pressure regulator?

No. The FMS-125 Quad does not have a pressure regulator. The component labeled “Flame Regulator” in the instruction manual is the manual flame-control valve used to adjust gas flow and heat output.

What fuel canisters does it use? Is fuel included?

It uses EN417 threaded butane-propane mixture canisters.
Fuel is not included and must be purchased separately.

Can I use it with Petrel G2, G3 or the Ramen Pot?

G3: No. The Petrel G3 is too narrow to sit securely on the FMS-125 Quad’s pot supports, so they cannot be used together.

G2: No. We don’t recommend this pairing because the Petrel G2 sits too close to the edges of the Quad’s pot supports for stable cooking.

Ramen Pot: It can sit securely on the stove, but the supports do not engage with the heat-exchanger slots.
