Petrel G3 Nesting Cookware Set

What’s included in the kit?

You’ll receive the Petrel G3 600ml HX Pot with lid, Hornet II Titanium Gas Stove, and Petrel 300ml Ultralight Cup-Bowl. A fuel canister and lighter are not included.

Do all three pieces pack together?

Yes. The pot, stove, and cup-bowl pack together as a compact nesting setup. Watch the packing video to see how to arrange the pieces.

Does the included stove fit the G3 pot?

Yes. The Hornet II fits the G3 pot’s heat-exchanger support design, so you don’t need to choose a stove separately.

Can I pack a fuel canister with the kit?

The video demonstrates packing with a 100g fuel canister. Fit can vary by canister brand and dimensions, so check your canister before your trip. Fuel is sold separately.

Does the stove have a built-in igniter?

No. You’ll need a lighter or another suitable fire starter to light the Hornet II.

What can I use the cup-bowl for?

Use it for coffee, tea, or small servings of food. Use the G3 pot for cooking, and keep the cup-bowl’s fabric sleeve away from flames and hot stove parts.

Can I use a different stove with the G3 pot?

The G3’s heat-exchanger support design requires a compatible stove. Not every stove will fit. Check our Petrel compatibility guide before using an alternative.
