1st fire maple heat exchanger 600ml pot arrived super fast shipping. My bozo move was all MY fault.I started up my Soto Windmaster stove full blast placed bare pot on stove and was reading meal bag directions. I looked down into empty pot and I had blown/melted a hole Thru bottom of empty pot exchanger. I reordered my 2nd pot firemaple heat exchanger pot 600ml . It arrived in record time again. This time I make sure my liquid is ALWAYS in pot before stove is lite. I used this pot over 5 days Thru hike Isle Royale September 2024 and it worked flawlessly. My Soto Windmaster stove with tri flex feet nests inside along with 100g canister, lighter, toaks collapsable spoon,fork,knife, inside firemaple pot. Lid and handle snap down to keep everything tightly together. More then impressed with this set up. I would recommend this to other people to purchase. BONUS NOTE: NEVER heat up any pot without liquid in it first. My trail mistake to pass on ! 🤦♂️

600ml = perfect size for me; fits the stove and 40z fuel canister. Heat exchanger is great for wind and fuel efficiency. Love the handle = no burned finger or danger of cotton bandana going up in smoke + it secures the lit so I don't need the carry bag. Weight is good; not my lightest setup, but not my heaviest. Stove is great = ignition switch + designed to fit the heat exchanger pot + good BTU. The lid is the only (kinda) negative. It doesn't fit as snug as I'd like and it's not as durable as my other metal lids - but, I like the burn-free handle. So, overall... almost perfect.

This pot is exactly what I was looking for. Compact and lightweight. On a weekend trip I was able to quickly and easily provide hot water to my companions and me for coffee and tea. It was a surprise how fast this pot brings the water to a boil. It can contain the whole cooking set inside which is convenient. I added a hack that I cut from a tin can to shield of the wind on 1/3 of the base.

We used this pot while canoe camping in Algonquin Park. It was light and when used with a Firemaple canister stove it was extremely fast and efficient. I loved having a built in handle. This is now my go to set up!

I really like being able to store the fuel, stove, stand, folding spoon and fork, instant coffee packets and cleaning cloth all inside the pot. Heats water fast. Pot is nice and stable. Very happy with my purchase.
