Superlight, extremely well made, and beautiful design. Plus, it works exceptionally well... a must buy!

You know in all seriousness, and after 41 years of experience as a Search and Rescue Ranger, I think I've seen or used everything under the sun and far as backpacking stoves are concerned. And without trying to sound dramatic, this pot in combination with a Soto Windmaster stove and the three prong pot support, may very well be the best Kit for all but Mountaineering when very large amounts of snow must be melted. For I would say 95/98 percent of the rest of us. This pot with the neoprene sleeve is absolutely spot on. Lite, large enough without over doing it, great lid, a pour spout that actually works, no drips, and the best feature I think is the heat exchanger, I was somewhat skeptical of those at first, gimmick I wondered, but nope it's a real thing the actually increases the performance noticeably. All in all, if you asked me, I would say absolutely purchase this.

Purchased the Petrel Ultralight G2 Pot and the GreenPeak Gas Stove with Electric Ignition at the same time.
Have only used them a couple of times to boil water. Worked very well - quickly and easy to use.

Some good and some bad

The weight, fit and performance with my MSR Pocket Rocket Deluxe are great. The only negative for me is the design of the handle. The post that secures it to the pot and too long and sharp, posing a danger for anything soft that might come in contact if the pot. A simple design change would be for the post to face in rather than out, and if made would create a killer product.
