A: The handle is very cleverly designed that you can confidently leave it in the upward position if you wish as it has a lip that the handle can rotate into. This lip has been specifically made to accommodate a upward position. Otherwise you can rotate to where you like.

Q2: The stainless steel description is double. Please answer accurately whether it is 304 or 18-8.
A: SUS304 is equal to 18-8 stainless steel. So it's 304 and yes, it's also 18-8.

A: No, there is no small whistling piece in the pour spout.

My pot and kettle arrived in perfect condition. I have yet to try them in doors or out so can’t speak to their heat retention, etc but feel they’ll meet my needs. Look great.

Excellent Customer Service

When I received my order, I was disappointed. The lid was so small that instead of sitting on the rim of the pan, it fell right in. But I took a photo of the lid in the bottom of the pan and sent it the company, and the company promptly sent me a new pan with a properly sized, fitted lid. Now I'm a happy camper.
