I only wish I had found this sooner for my Rubicon Trail trip. My Outland firepit is great, but on a trip like the Rubicon, space and securability is a premium. Now it lives under the back seat of my Jeep alongside my Maverick wood stove.
I wasn’t sure what I would think about it when I ordered the mini fire pit. It came in well packaged and was easy to assemble. I’ll be using the fire pit for years to come.
The fire pit itself is pretty good. Knocked off some stars, though, because within the first 15 minutes of using it, one of the included lava rocks exploded with a loud bang. Had to turn it off. Not sure we’ll continue to use the included rocks.
