Car compact

I have this pot set in the vehicle with a burner and fuel for emergency situations. A little bit of planning goes a long way.

Delievery time

Although everything about the cookware set itself is perfect, the delivery time was not. I realize this particular set came from the China warehouse . . . but I did not know that before I ordered it. I needed this for a through hike and it took two weeks for delivery . . . separately from the stove I ordered along with it. Actually 2 days before I am on the road. Cutting it close! I almost had to run out and purchase something else. But all is well.

Aside from that, this is exactly what I need. Light, fits my fuel canister, stove and 2 lighters. Has both a cup and a pot to boil in. Just what I wanted.

Camping pot

My son has tested this out on his camping stove; super easy to clean; really compact and ideal for campers or hikers as it is also really lightweight while also being well made and sturdy

Very nice

Very nice.

I've reviewed quite a lot of Fire-Maple gear and it's all been well made and up there with the big brands, but at a lower price.

This is no exception; I popped it onto a Fire Maple Titanium gas stove, and filled it up with 600ml cold water. I did the same to my MSR Windburner and to a Fire Maple equivalent that I've reviewed before, and the race was on...

Now the test was indoors where there was no wind; had it been outdoors on a windy day, I suspect that the exposed gas stove plus pot would have been slower than the two stove systems which are less affected by wind.

However, in the completely unrealistic conditions of my kitchen, this camping stove on top of the fire maple gas stove was about 5s faster to the boil than the other two stove, which were about the same time (just under 2 minutes).

So there you have it; in zero wind conditions it has great performance, which is all you can expect from a pan rather than a full stove system.

It comes in it's own mesh bag, which could be useful if the pot gets sooted up over a meths flame, but otherwise is redundant.

The handles are fine, and the lid fits well.

I weighed the pot at 195g.

Great pot but…

I really like this part, it’s lightweight, easy to carry, and boils water very quickly however it is extremely expensive for what it is. I don’t think I would buy this for the current advertised price.

We used it over two days camping recently and found it to boil water quickly, however it’s also only 0.9 L capacity so enough for a few drinks only.

Hope this review is helpful thank you for reading it.
