Star X2 Cooking System

Very handy for hiking and camping trips for making teas and boiling water.

Since having the Star X2 since January 2025 I can tell you that for the price and the convenience of cooking right from the back of my vehicle I have never gone without a cup of coffee or a nice hot meal , it is a game changer .

Let me start by telling you, I have been a jet oil fan until now! My most favorite part of the X2 system is that the fuel canister fits in the x2 with ease. It compact and wide enough for what i need. I can put it all into one bag and done. The cooking plate is my favorite for quick easy meat cooking. Fast , reliable and the best!! We camp out of our jeep or as you would say “overlanding”. I have my own setup and I purchased this system and absolutely love it. Starts every time without worry!
Plan on purchasing more! Thanks for designing a great product!

Took my fire maple for a trial run today on a windy day fishing. We had hot cider on the back of the boat in the morning and a hot hot hot soup lunch. For a family of four. This made cooking fast and easy. We had a fire, but that would've taken just too long.

I am planning on a AZT thru-bike and intend on using it for the Adventure. Tested twice love it!!!

Great piece of kit which has been designed and built well! I highly recommend this cooker as it is great quality for a very reasonable price!

The X2 works well, it is well made and has a wider pot than the competition. Compared to the X1 you get a solid lid, a locking handle, a different control knob, a pot support, and a canister stand. The flame control is good and allows for a low simmer so cooking is an option with it. Nice upgrade from the X1.

This works so well and at a fraction of the price of those big brand versions. Those others might work a little better and be a couple grams lightert, but at what cost? Once my pack is over 10lbs I quit counting grams and my wife counts the dollars :)

Built to last and enjoyable to use this is one of my favourite pieces of camping gear. The handle is super robust and being able to store the gas canister inside the pot itself is a genius design! The construction and quality seem very good, and the whole setup is very light and compact. I haven't tested the burner yet, but the valve turns smoothly and the connection for the fuel can is well-machined and has a fitting o-ring (as well as extras). I don't expect there to be any issues with its function, and I can't wait to finally get to use it.

Love this cooling system! Works great with the firemaple cooking pan. Will be getting the pot, egg holders and Saturn cooking system as well!

Ordered on Dec 1/25, last shipping update was Dec 17/25 and now Jan 11/26. Firemaple telling me to call shipper and offering no refund or any solution for that matter. I would have expected at the very least that they would have dealt with their shipper or offered to provide a replacement.

ive used it for long trips with the family multiple times now and having to constantly cook up a pot of tea was a really good way of testing it. takes about 4 mins to boil 1L which is amazing and it doesn’t blow out in windy conditions which is a big plus. ive used it now 3 times in backpacking trips up to two days and its a bit on the heavier side but does the job extremely well. with the gas its about 900g but if you get a 100g canister its about 760g which is good. my friend has the OEX one which is 500ml and the X2 cooks 1L faster than it boiling 500ml its also faster than the alp kit boiler

I haven't been home to take it out of the box yet but anxious to do so this fall and go out and try it! Think it will be a perfect addition to my survival gear! Try me in about 2 months and I should have a better idea how much I like it. Thanks

I had seen reviews by other youtubers and thought I should really try one. I was not dissapointed. The Star X2 is a real star when it comes to meal times in the bush. It's 1ltr pot boils water faster than the suns rays on Mercury and the versatile pot ring makes using a frypan as easy as and effortlessly as a spacewalk.well done Fire Maple.This is my new go to for all my camping and travelling cooking need. Awsome.

took this backpacking was perfect for boiling water at night to keep warm and cooked our hotdogs and ramen very fast and easy.

I've had the system for a couple of weeks. I took it out backpacking, and it works great. Boils water super fast and efficiently. Also, it's pretty light, so I don't have any trouble carrying it in my pack for miles.

Very nicely packaged. Quality is well made. I will look forward to using this camp stove for many camp adventures!

The product came smashed all up cannot use. Do not want to replace whole item still have not gotten my replacement waiting on the very little that they would do.
