Folding Bucket

I have not used this bucket yet. But I am looking forward to it. It is obviously made of quality, strong materials. You can count on fire Maple products!

Quick boil.

Love it. This thing boils faster than any of my other pots, it is a little heavy but I can live with the trade off. Looking forward to trying it in the winter.

Clever design. Lava rock exploded on first use.

The fire pit itself is pretty good. Knocked off some stars, though, because within the first 15 minutes of using it, one of the included lava rocks exploded with a loud bang. Had to turn it off. Not sure we’ll continue to use the included rocks.

New pot vs jet boil

Porduct as advertised. Shipping good. This pot gives you 85% of what jet. Boil gives you for a fraction of the price. The mess kit will not slip off the stove with this product. Only down side is you can not hang it from the tent ceiling wile wating out a storm.

Boil time is very fast. Light setup. Only things I'd like to see is peizo, and my fuel cans to fit. Definitely not deal breakers, as this is a badass setup!

Works fine with the BRS 3000t stove

I'm surprised nobody has pointed this out yet, but this pot nests perfectly with the little BRS 3000t stove that's so popular with through-hikers. The pot supports on that stove *do* fold out at that weird angle, but the arms all fit perfectly inside the inner ring of the heat exchanger on the underside of the pot. It's a perfect, very secure fit. Also, if that's the stove you're using, you can fit a 230g cannister, the BRS 3000t stove, a fold-out pot support, microfiber cleanup cloth, and a lighter all inside the pot with the lid clamped down. Easy-peasy

I Love The Petral Pot 800ml

What a versatile pot for backpacking and car camping.
If you want enough water to rehydrate a meal and have a cup of tea/coffee on one boil, this the pot for you.
Well designed, reasonablely priced, and light weight.

Super light and boils water super fast

Overall super happy, I took it on a camping trip with friends and ended up boiling water for everyone else because it was by far the fastest stove. I do wish the gas cylinder and stove fit in the pot easier but you can make it work.

Not put to Test

Not used. Bought it Togo with a Soto stove, again not purchased or used. I do a lot of back country horse work: Elk hunting; cow work; fishing etc. normally I pack a horse with cooking gear, and take off. I’m willing to try a different style.

Love the Billy Pot!!

I love the fact that I have a pot with 1.8L capacity, a perfect size for camping! Plus it also has a steamer tray!! Brilliant!

Its okay

I like the weight and the size of the stove. It needs improvements i don't like that you need to finagle the pot to get it to fit on the stove. Then the pot is stuck on the stove to the point you need to hold to stove to get the pot off while unscrewing it or you'll twist the stove off the gas container. Overall I wouldn't recommend it.

Perfect but needs a big brother

I brought two enameled pots both looked to suspect to me in quality not what they use to be that's for shure, then I found this 2qt a few days before my trip, and it performed well used mostly to boil water pasta and re warm stuff, haven't used the steamer yet,

The only drawback is there no helper handle to pour just the bail, so you'll need a hot pad of thick glove to handle

But I would like to see a big brother in a 4qt size or even a 6qt size

Almost perfect

I have this filter it's almost perfect it does filter well, but i find just to small, wish it was bigger, I have the paper filter pour over cup top also from fire maple also, I think if the stainless filter fit this piece it would be a perfect pair

Quiet lanterns, soft light, very pleasant

I got the orange gas lantern and the camping gas lantern and both are aesthetically appealing and easy to use. Kudos to the designers!

Order early

The shipping takes a while so order well before your next adventure, but the wait will be worth it. I've always been an alcohol stove user but I took a chance on the FMS-118. I was very pleasantly surprised on my last bike tour, and happy with how stingy the stove is with fuel. That was my main concern since canister fuel isn't always readily available when you're remote. From full blast boiling, to simmering, this stove has exceeded my expectations and for the price you really should try it. This stove will definitely be going on my future adventures.

The perfect pan

I love this pan. I have been looking for something like this for a while. It worked perfectly for cooking my home made dehydrated backpacking meals. I recently went on a 3 night 4 day trip and this was the perfect pan.

Great

Not used

I was in the Denver VA Hospital at the time the product was delivered. I think it will be a great addition nto my hunting equipment (I use horses, to hunt elk in very cold conditions). I’ll need time to really test it. As of this writing, I use a walker. Not riding a horse anytime soon.

In love

I love this stove so much. It’s been so fun for my family to bring this on little adventures. It fits right in my back back and is just enough space to grill a few hot dogs or grilled cheese. We love to use it biking and roast marshmallows over it. It’s so simple and burns nicely. Love the fact that it has a separate grill pan for easy cleanup. So glad I bought this. Totally worth it.

Issues

After moderate use, mine isn’t working. Hoping to find a solution — possibly needs a good cleaning.

Not pretty but solid little burner

It isn’t the most powerful out there, or even in my collection, but it pairs with my G2 pot really well. Built in igniter makes it fuss free to use.
Not very pretty, a very industrial look.
It isn’t super collapsible but enough to fit in the pot with the fuel canister.
Overall it just does what it says on the tin (or the cardboard tube.)
