FMW-510 10Pcs Foldable Windscreen

For years I've used make shift wind guards, from back packs, towels tied to sticks and the ever so useful tinfoil. The FMW-510 windscreen does away with all that. It is free standing in most configurations, tall enough for most all heat sources (1# propane canisters are close to being too tall) and long enough to wrap around a 10" skillet. One of the best features of the FMW-510 is the hard plastic case it comes in. The case not only protects the screen from being damaged in your pack but also protects your pack from being damaged by the screen. Just wish I had found/bought this sooner. Love it.

I bought one once before and wanted another. This time it came in a cheap bag holder and not in the case as pictured on the website. Do better on your advertising

Not used yet, but looks good and feels sturdy.

Have only used the folding stove screen a few times, but is a good product - heavier than the foil types, but more stable and easier to set/adjust (the sliding stake pins are a clever addition). Bending it may cause problems, but haven't had that situation yet.

I have been considering many versions of wind screen and Fire Maple came through again! So much of your products in my kit! I needed versatility as I have several models and sizes of stoves. I am thrilled to add these 2 to my kit.

It does its job as advertised. My only complaint is that it can be a bit finnicky getting it back into its case. The plastic case also adds to the weight of a lightweight piece of equipment. Maybe find another way to store it to help keep the weight down.
