Polaris 1L Pressure-Regulated Cooking System

Exactly as advertised. Water heats quickly, the unit breaks down easily and fits together well. Haven't used it in extreme cold or wind yet, but plan on purchasing the wind guard just because it'll be nice to have just in case.

Had it against a jetboil for 3 days camping. Jetboil is smaller. Could coffee up 3 ppl and still have enough for boil in bag breakfast. Plus it was 50 bucks cheaper. Lasted a hard riding adv bike trip on my KTM. Needless to say, it works, it lasted, and was cheaper.

Great product and great delivery.
I do a lot of remote hunting, heating water is a key element in daily activities and comfort.
Anyone that gets out in the back country, I mean days away from civilization can appreciate the effectiveness and comfort of Fire Maple!

Great for boiling water. But I find the valve has a lot of play before it will ignite and little hard to control flames (for lower temp) to use for other pots or pans for cooking.

I used it in a recent camping trip, worked like a charm! Previously, I used to use Coleman stove to boil water to make coffee and it took a long time especially in higher elevations. But with this cooking system, I had boiling water real fast. It is a quality piece of gear and you will not be disappointed!

Great portable stove. It works really well and is reliable. I carry on my side by side for hot meals when cold weather riding.

I bought this for late fall and early spring outings. What sold me was the pressure regulator.
Quality is excellent, it includes the pot stand and canister stabilizer that I had to buy separately with the other system.
The pot is a good sized unit that makes for easy cooking and it will actually boil a liter.
I set it up and did a trial boil and it performed well.
The Polaris will be going with me in late October for a week and I do not foresee any problems when using it.

I got the orange gas lantern and the camping gas lantern and both are aesthetically appealing and easy to use. Kudos to the designers!

I am very Happy with my Polaris Stove System, especially with the included separate Pot Stand that allows you to use other pots and pans besides the XC One Liter Pot the system comes with. And the claim made for the .5 L Boil Time is right on the Money! I got a 2 Cup Boil Time of 1 Min 45 Sec with the Factory Pot and 1 Min 45 Sec with my Primus .9 L Tea Kettle, which is 6” in DIA. and 2.2” High. I find the FireMaple Polaris System to be a quality built and very well designed system. I have loaned the Canister out several times with another stove I have, so I have no idea how much gas is left in the can. As the results of the boil test clearly show, the results the Regulator System produced were all that could be asked for..Karl Klavon.

Bought this on Prime day for a great deal. Has been on SEVERAL trips with no issues. Great product for the price! Just hope we will get changeable insulation sleeves one day. Would love a camo option!

We bought the Polaris Pressure Regulator Cooking System to take camping and to have a system that can simmer as well as boil. The Polaris checks both boxes. My husband tested the boiling aspect in about 50 degree weather and the water boiled in about 1 min 10 seconds per the timer (ver fast boil!). He turned the stove down and got a nice simmer as well.
I reached out to customer service to find if I could purchase additional neoprene covers for the stove. I want one as a back-up when cleaning the one that came with the stove. I was told that they do not sell additional covers as a separate item, but they helped me out by sending me a second cover and all I had to do was pay shipping. So far, we like this product a lot and a very pleased with the stove system. I also bought one of their Ancest Bushcraft cups for my husband and that it is a separate review.
Overall we have not been disappointed and really like the Fire Maple products and pricing.

Great product! Used it many times for boiling water

I went through 2 fuel cans and the igniter stopped working. Now I have to use a lighter to ignite it. Try jet boil now I guess.

I will say the stove and lantern are awesome. They work great and are as advertised. I purchased the propane converter (which I have not tried as of yet) but the other two items are outstanding. My only complaint is that items that are shipped from China are going to take a while to get and the shipping will make many many transfers in the process. The tracking was very nice but still….sssslloooww. If you are planning on getting this for a next weekend trip you will likely go without Plan ahead and you will be fine. Again, overall great construction, great looking, great operation! Will purchase more items in the future!

Boiled a full pot incredibly fast!

The Polaris boils water quick, I’ve only used it a couple times but I’m quite happy with the performance. Also, the stove cools and is ready to be packed up by the time I’m done with my food or drink.

Love this little gadget! It's perfect to take on a day hike and easy to use.

The only reason I know it works great is from using my brother in laws on our hunt. I order this unit on the Tuesday after Labor Day It finally was shipped 11 days later. I left on Thursday it came on Saturday did me no good!!

Love this thing. Economical, works well, and quality is better than some of the cheaper Amazon knockoffs. Regulator is a nice touch on a jet boil type stove and I wouldn’t have one without a reg after using. Good compromise stove. I’ve used it on several motorcycle camping trips and it’s just great.

Great Pot. It would be better if the lid was tighter but can’t see a jetboil being any better.

Upon arriving two weeks after ordered, I tried the Polaris and was pleased with the regulating burner. Holds a 220 fuel cell nicely too. Happy with construction and look forward to years of use.
