What does the pressure regulator actually do?

Can I use larger pots on this stove?

Yes. The wider pot supports provide a more stable platform for larger backpacking cookware than typical ultralight stoves.

Does it fit the Petrel G3 pot?

No. The GreenPeak II pot supports are wider than the Petrel G3 heat exchanger opening, so they are not compatible.

Does the built-in igniter replace a lighter?

For most trips, yes. However, as with any piezo igniter, carrying a backup lighter is still recommended for extended trips or extreme conditions.

Is this a good winter stove?
