What does the pressure regulator do?

The regulator helps maintain steadier gas flow as canister pressure drops in colder conditions or as fuel runs low.

It reduces performance loss but does not make the stove unaffected by temperature, fuel level, or canister condition.

How is GreenPeak II different from GreenPeak Pro?

GreenPeak II uses wider pot supports and delivers 2.6 kW of peak output.

GreenPeak Pro uses a narrower three-arm support design and is rated at 2.1 kW. Both weigh 3.4 oz (95 g) and include pressure regulation and piezo ignition.

Does it fit the Petrel G3 pot?

No. The support hinges are too wide for the G3 heat-exchanger opening.

Does it fit the Petrel G2 pot?

Yes. The wider G2 heat-exchanger opening can accommodate the GreenPeak II support structure.

Is this a good winter stove?

Yes. The pressure regulator helps maintain more consistent output in cold weather, making the GreenPeak II a dependable choice for winter backpacking and high-altitude adventures.

Is GreenPeak II a winter stove?

It performs more consistently than a non-regulated stove when canister pressure drops in cold conditions.

However, it does not have a preheat tube and does not support inverted-canister liquid feed. It is better described as a cold-weather-capable canister stove, not an extreme-winter stove.

Does the Z1 adapter fit?

No. GreenPeak II is not compatible with the Z1 adapter.
