Its 1L capacity provides more stirring room than narrow 600ml solo pots, but it is still a compact backpacking pot rather than a wide frying or sauté pan.

Does an 8 oz fuel canister fit inside?

Yes. A standard 8 oz (230 g) threaded isobutane-propane canister fits inside the pot.

Canister dimensions vary slightly by brand, so confirm the fit before relying on a specific packing arrangement for a trip.

How is it different from the Petrel G3?

Choose the FMC-XK6 when cooking room and broader stove compatibility matter more:

Can I use it over a campfire?

A controlled camping stove is recommended.
