Why should I choose this stainless steel kettle over a lighter titanium one?

Titanium is for carrying, Stainless Steel is for cooking.

- Open Fire Safe: The Antarcti is built with thick SUS304 Stainless Steel. You can put it directly into the red-hot coals of a campfire. Titanium can warp or discolor unevenly, and aluminum can melt or degrade in extreme heat.

- Health: It is completely non-reactive. No metallic taste, no coating to scratch off. It’s the safest material for boiling water year after year.

Is it heavy?

It is built solid.
- 0.6L: ~244g (Solo / Ultralight Bushcraft)
- 1.0L: ~295g (The Classic Standard)
- 1.5L: ~370g (Group / Basecamp)

It's heavier than titanium, but lighter than cast iron. It strikes the perfect balance for a rugged camp kitchen.

Which size should I get?

0.6L (The Soloist): Perfect for one person. It boils just enough for a freeze-dried meal (500ml) + a quick coffee. Fits easily in backpack side pockets.

1.0L (The All-Rounder): The most popular size. Ideal for 2 people. It can store a 110g gas canister inside. Fits perfectly inside the Antarcti 1.2L Pot for a nesting set.

1.5L (The Team Player): Best for groups of 3-4. Great for melting large amounts of snow or boiling water for everyone's morning coffee in one go.

Can I hang it over a fire?

Yes. It features a sturdy, locking bail handle specifically designed for tripod hanging.

Pro Tip: The handle has a "detent" (notch) to keep it upright, so it doesn't flop down into the fire and get too hot to grab.

Does the handle get hot?

Since it is all-metal (for fire safety), the handle will get hot over an open flame.

Safety: Always use a leather glove, a stick, or a bandana when lifting it from a campfire. We intentionally avoided plastic/silicone coatings on the handle so they wouldn't melt in the fire.

Does it have a whistle?

No, this is a classic bushcraft kettle. It does not whistle. However, the lid has steam vents to prevent rattling, and the spout is designed for a precision pour (great for drip coffee!).
