At least I didn't have to make and hand stitch my own but another 1/8 - 3/16" taller side skirt would be nice , enough to at least actually cover the canister. Hopefully the flat top will start conforming to the convex shape of the canister top and allow the side skirt to drop down a little.
The gas lantern always brings a very nice atmosphere to the camp and is always on board, and the beautiful leather cover rounds it all off perfectly 👍 a clear purchase recommendation for me greetings Chris @staffbullchris Instagram

Gas Canister Leather Cover
The leather gas canister cover adds a very nice look especially when using one of the gas lanterns. It will not fit the Coleman brand gas canisters as they are a bit larger than other canisters. It is well made and shipping was fast.
The leather cover was squished inside the package as an after thought.
I will try wetting the leather and letting it dry while mounted on a gas canister.
It's not a super big deal, but I expected more care from the maker.

Looks great and is very comfortable in the hand. Definitely a luxury item and not especially functional. Fits the canisters I use and the wife loves it!
Fits the 1/2 pound propane tank, could be 3/4 inch longer.

Suitable for 220G canister. Note: Coleman 220G flat cans are slightly larger and cannot be nested in the leather cover. Which has been marked in the description, you can check it.
The gas canister leather cover is attractive & good quality. Be aware that gas canisters vary slightly in size. I tried my cover on two Coleman 220g canisters, one green label & one black label. Fit was snug on both, so I simply removed the vertical side lacing for an acceptable fit. For my canisters, I would need an extra 1/4 inch in all directions for a more comfortable fit.
Admittedly, you don't need the leather cover for the lantern to work. But it's made well and looks good. Definitely worth the $$. If I didn't get it, I'm sured I'd be looking at mine when I use it and think, "why didn't I just get it?". Definitely completes the look.

The leather cover makes the lamp look complete. It’s a great addition to complete the look. It’s very tight….ill warn you. I found using the end of a tablespoon handle shoved up between and then tilting outward and pulling down and then working my way around finally got it seared all the way down. It looks wonderful and after sitting for a while I assume getting on next time will be far easier as the leather has relaxed now.
Definitely would buy if you are getting one of the lamps. Which they made for larger bottles as well, but may be impossible to get on those initially!

Cool and durable
If you get the gas lantern you got to get the leather cover for the canister. It just looks and fits great plus the quality is really nice. It really finishes off the product with a cozy and elevated look.

Fits good and looks good
Used the lantern for the first time at a campsite in Texas on Christmas Eve. Performed just as I hoped it would, perfect amount of light for our outdoor dinner. Highly recommend!
It protects the top and sides of the canister from any accidentals. You need one.
But doesn't quite cover the can of fuel , Well made and attractive , just needs to be a little taller, Would also be nice to see covers for other size cans , the 440g and a 1lb Lp bottle
