Is the Orange Lantern bright enough to light up my whole campsite？

The Orange Lantern is designed to create a warm, candle-like ambiance rather than intense illumination. While it is bright enough to read a book by or play cards at a table, it is best used for mood lighting. For setting up a tent in the dark or cooking, we recommend pairing it with a headlamp or LED lantern.

How do I light the lantern? Does it have a built-in igniter?

The Orange Lantern does not have a built-in igniter (to keep it compact and classic).

How to light: You will see a small cut-out hole at the bottom of the glass globe. Simply hold a lighter or match to this hole while slowly turning the gas valve knob until it catches.

Can I adjust the flame size?

Yes. By turning the wire knob, you can adjust the flame from a tiny "candle flicker" to a taller, brighter flame.

Pro Tip: Keep the flame inside the glass height to prevent the glass from getting too sooted or overheated.

Can I use this to finish off my nearly empty fuel canisters?

Absolutely. We call it the "Canister Finisher." It operates perfectly on the low pressure of nearly empty canisters that don't have enough power to run a stove, helping you reduce waste.

Is the glass fragile? How do I pack it safely?

The globe is made of high-quality Borosilicate glass, which is heat-resistant but can break if dropped. However, every Orange Lantern comes with a padded hard-shell carrying case included in the box. As long as you store it in the case, it is perfectly safe in your backpack or gear bin.

My lantern is attached to a full canister, but no gas is coming out. Is it broken?

It is likely not broken, but the jet nozzle might be clogged.

Why this happens: Over time, impurities in the gas or soot from combustion can block the tiny hole (the jet) that releases the fuel. This is common with all gas appliances.

The Fix: This is why we include a specialized Cleaning Needle in the box. A quick poke is usually all it takes to get it working like new.
