Which pot does this fit?

This filter is designed specifically for the Petrel G3 600ml Pot and Petrel Quickboil System.

Can I leave the press in the pot while boiling water?

NO. Always remove the entire filter assembly before lighting your stove.

Safety Rule: Boil your water first, turn off the flame, add your coarse coffee grounds, and then insert the press. Boiling water with the press already inside will cause dangerous explosive overflow and will melt the plastic knob at the top.

Is it hard to clean?

No. A quick rinse after brewing is usually enough to remove coffee grounds and keep the filter clean.

Can I use it for tea?

Yes. It works perfectly for loose-leaf tea as well, straining out the leaves just like it does specifically for coffee grounds.
