Which pot does this fit?

It is designed specifically for the Petrel 600ml (G3) Pot and Petrel Quickboil System.

Can I leave the press in the pot while boiling water?

NO. Always remove the entire filter assembly before lighting your stove.
Safety Rule: Boil your water first, turn off the flame, add your coarse coffee grounds, and then insert the press. Boiling water with the press already inside will cause dangerous explosive overflow and will melt the plastic knob at the top.

Is it hard to clean?

Not at all. The mesh is fine enough to trap grounds but open enough for a quick rinse.
Pro Tip: Rinse it with water immediately after finishing your coffee. Do not let the grounds dry and harden in the mesh, as they become much harder to scrub out later.

Can I use it for tea?

Yes. It works perfectly for loose-leaf tea as well, straining out the leaves just like it does specifically for coffee grounds.
