I bought a few of these as spares, haven't needed them yet. I used one to replace the piezo my 2005 JB PCS and now the old J Boil has a reliable Piezo. I am happy that Fire Maple has spare parts at a reasonable price.

Will this igniter work on the torch?

FireMaple

No, it’s not compatible. This igniter has a shorter needle and is designed only for the Star X series stoves. The Torch stove requires a longer ignition needle.
