Tropics 1-Person Cot-Compatible Tent

This is by far one of the best tents I have ever used. It fits perfectly into my bike packing saddle bag yet still big enough when set up for more than enough room to sleep in and move around in. And plenty of room to sit up in. I’m 5.10 and have room at both ends. It’s very well made and feels more robust than some of the newer super light weight tents. The selling point for me was the tarp set up you can do with the door. It’s an absolute game changer and I had plenty of interest about it. The inner sets up tight with no slack anywhere. The outer sits far enough away you can’t come into contact with it. You can store stuff in both sides of the tent as it has 2 doors. But one side can only be accessed from inside which I did not need to use but could be useful for some. I had to do some adjusting with the peg straps as they seemed a little over the top and very long.. I also cut off the straps under the tent which I presume is for the cot system which I will never use! Super easy to set up. Takes 5 minute. No condensation over night and looks very waterproof but I haven’t tried it in the rain yet.. I’m sure it will hold up. The only downfall for me is the colour. On the reviews on YouTube and also this website it looks like a lovely autumn yellow colour but when I received mine it was actually more of a muddy brown. I was very disappointed as the autumn yellow was another selling point for me but…. It is only the colour.. I now decided it’s not muddy brown or vomit brown as my partner first suggested but actually more of a golden brown… I absolutely love this tent and iv tried a lot of tents over the years. It’s a perfect bike packing tent and highly recommend it.

Have used once surprisingly roomy. First time assembly was a learning curve but hopefully will get better with practice . Like the light weight and compact package. Doesn't take up much room in pack. Yet to test in stormy weather. 👍
