What fuel does it use?

It is compatible with Kerosene or Lamp Oil/Paraffin.

Recommendation: For a cleaner burn with less odor (especially indoors or in a tent vestibule), always choose high-quality Paraffin Oil.

How long does it burn on a single fill?

Up to 40 Hours.

Once you fill this base reservoir completely, the efficient wick system allows it to burn continuously for up to 40 hours before you need to add more fuel.
This means you likely won't need to refill it during a standard weekend trip.

Does it leak?

It can if tipped over.

Rule #1: Like all traditional oil lamps, the tank is not 100% sealed against upside-down movement. Always keep the lantern upright when it contains oil. If you need to pack it in a bag, empty the oil first.
