What fuel does the Voyager use?

Use kerosene or a compatible lamp oil. Highly refined clear paraffin lamp oil is recommended when you want less odor and soot than standard kerosene, although no liquid-fuel lantern is guaranteed completely odorless.

How long does a full tank last?

A full 13.5 fl oz (400 ml) tank provides approximately 35–40 hours of burn time under typical low-flame use. Runtime varies with wick height, fuel type, wind, and maintenance.

Can I use it inside a tent, cabin, RV, or vehicle?

No. Use it only outdoors in an open, ventilated area. Never operate it inside tents, cabins, homes, RVs, vehicles, or enclosed shelters.

Can I transport it with fuel inside?

Empty the fuel tank before packing or vehicle transport. Keep the lantern upright during use and refilling, but do not rely on upright positioning alone to prevent leaks in transit.

How do I reduce smoke or soot?

Use refined lamp oil, trim the wick evenly, and keep the flame within the recommended height. A wick set too high may produce a larger flame, soot, odor, and excess heat.
