What is the Antarcti Gas Fire Pit designed for?

It is designed to create adjustable outdoor flame ambience without burning firewood.
Its 3,753 BTU/h output is intended for fire-watching and close-range atmosphere, not primary campsite heating.

What fuel canisters does it use?

It fits EN417 threaded isobutane-propane canisters commonly used with backpacking stoves. Other valve types are not directly compatible.

Is a fuel canister included?

No. The fire pit, burner assembly, lava rocks, and carry bag are included; the fuel canister and lighter are sold separately.

Does it have built-in ignition?

No. Turn on a small amount of gas and ignite the burner carefully with a long lighter or match before adjusting the flame.

Can I cook over it?

No. It is an ambience fire pit, not a cooking stove or grill. Food, grease, and sugary residue can contaminate the lava rocks and burner area.

Does it produce smoke?

It does not burn wood, so it produces no wood smoke, wood ash, or flying wood embers during normal use. It is still a fuel-burning appliance and should only be used in an open, well-ventilated outdoor area.

Can I use it inside a tent or vehicle?

No. Use it only in an open outdoor area, away from tents, vehicles, enclosed shelters, overhanging materials, and other combustible objects.
