Can I cook on this fire pit?

No. The Antarcti Gas Fire Pit is designed purely for Ambiance and Warmth.

- Why not? Dripping food grease or boiling over water onto the Volcanic Stones (Lava Rocks) will ruin them, creating bad smells and smoke.

Does it produce heat?

Yes. It outputs roughly 3700 BTU of heat. It works as an excellent Mini Hand Warmer on a cold table, but it won't replace a dedicated heavy-duty tent heater.

Are the rocks included?

Yes. The kit comes with a bag of natural Volcanic Stones (Lava Rocks).

- Function: The stones radiate heat and, more importantly, diffuse the gas flame to make it look like a natural wood fire rather than a jet burner.

- Setup: Simply arrange the stones inside the metal mesh. Tip: Don't pack them too tightly; let the gas flow through for the best flame effect.

Is it easy to carry?

Surprisingly, yes. The entire unit (including the base and stones) folds down into a compact bundle. At ~705g (25oz), it's heavy for a hiking stove but incredibly light for a "private campfire."

Can I touch the rocks after turning it off?

NO! The volcanic stones retain extreme heat for a long time, just like real coals.

Cool Down: Please allow at least 15-20 minutes for the stones and metal frame to cool down completely before trying to pack them into the storage bag.
