Can I use this stove in any camping tent?

No. It only be used in a purpose-built hot tent that explicitly permits a wood-burning stove and has a suitable fire-resistant stove jack.

Confirm the 2.4 in (60 mm) chimney diameter, stove-jack height, chimney clearance, and required distance from combustible materials before use. Never install it in a standard backpacking tent.

Can I leave the stove burning while I sleep?

No. Never leave the stove burning unattended or operate it while occupants are sleeping.

Maintain continuous ventilation, use a working battery-powered carbon monoxide alarm, and keep a suitable fire extinguisher nearby. Carbon monoxide is odorless and can cause loss of consciousness or death

What wood should I burn?

Use clean, dry, seasoned, untreated firewood.

Do not burn painted or pressure-treated wood, plastic, trash, wet wood, or other materials that may produce excessive smoke, toxic fumes, or rapid creosote buildup. Wet or green wood can increase smoke, carbon monoxide, and deposits inside the chimney.

Can I cook on top of the stove?

Yes. The flat stainless steel top can hold suitable kettles, pans, and pots.

Use stable cookware, keep handles away from the chimney and tent walls, and wear heat-resistant gloves. The cooktop, shelves, door, chimney, and controls become extremely hot during use.
