We recommend NOT putting your petrel pot in the dishwasher, especially if pasta has burnt to the bottom. The high heat and strong detergents in dishwashers can damage the aluminum surface over time.

For burnt pasta, try soaking the pot in warm soapy water for 10-15 minutes to loosen any stuck bits. You can then gently scrub with a soft sponge or brush. If needed, a paste made of baking soda and water can help remove any stubborn residue.

Hi Brad, we wouldn’t recommend it. The G3 pot is designed with a base slot to securely fit canister stoves for added stability. While it can physically sit on the Polaris cook system, there’s a risk it might slip during use. Safety first!
