What is the purpose of the "Preheat Tube"?

The preheat tube is a game-changer for cold-weather camping. It routes the gas through the flame to warm it up before combustion. How powerful is the standard Saturn stove?

Can I use the gas canister upside down (inverted) with this stove?

Yes! Thanks to the preheat tube, the Saturn is designed to handle liquid fuel feed.

- Why do it? Inverting the canister maintains high pressure in winter conditions or helps you use every last drop of fuel from a canister.

- How to do it safely: Always light the stove with the canister upright first. Let it warm up for about 5 mins, then flip the canister upside down. This prevents dangerous flare-ups.

What size pots can I use?

The Saturn features a clever dual-mode pot support system to handle almost any cookware:

- Maximum Size: With the supports fully extended, it provides a wide, stable base (250mm / 9.8in) for large frying pans and pots up to 10 inches, perfect for group cooking.

- Minimum Size: You can also fold the supports inward to create a narrow platform (40mm / 1.6in). This allows you to safely heat small items like a titanium mug or a moka pot directly on the stove without needing an extra adapter.

Does it have an igniter?

Yes, it comes with a built-in Piezo ignition system. It’s convenient and easy to use. (As always, we recommend carrying a backup lighter for high-altitude trips).
