I found one of these pots in a hiker box at the start of the Appalachian Trail this year and took it to Maine with me. It took a beating but successfully made it all of the way! I had never heard of Firemaple prior to finding the pot, but I am glad I did. From what I noticed, this pot appears to boil water in about half of the time it takes when using a regular Toaks., sometimes faster depending on the amount of water being boiled. Having the ability to lock my stove into the pot while cooking saved me from spilling water hundreds of times while on trail. Finding this cookpot has made me a customer of Firemaple for life now.
