Are they heat proof?

Yes, highly heat resistant.

You can safely handle hot cast iron pans, adjust a stove, or rearrange burning logs (briefly).

Warning: They are Heat Resistant, not "Fireproof". Do not hold a red-hot coal for more than a few seconds, or the heat will eventually transfer through.

What is the difference between Summer vs. Winter versions?

The Lining.

- Summer Version (~128g): Unlined or lightly lined. Better breathability for hot weather chores like chopping wood.

- Winter Version (~135g): Features an extra internal lining (often brushed cotton) to keep hands warm in freezing temperatures while still protecting against burns.

What size do I need

It is "One Size Fits Most".

Dimensions: Approx. 265mm x 135mm (10.4 x 5.3 in).

Fit: Designed to be slightly loose to allow for airflow and to fit a wide range of hand sizes (Average Male Hand size).

How do I wash them?

DO NOT machine wash.

Leather hardens if soaked and dried rapidly. Wipe them clean with a damp cloth. If they get very wet, let them dry naturally (away from direct fire) and apply leather conditioner (oil/wax) to keep them soft.

Can I use them for knife work?

Yes.

They offer excellent Abrasion and Puncture Resistance. They are great for protecting your hands from splinters while chopping wood or from accidental slips while whittling.
