What fuel does it use?

Standard 8oz Butane Canisters.

These are the long, cylindrical "hairspray style" bottles (often cheap and found in Asian supermarkets). It is NOT compatible with the round backpacking screw-on canisters (isobutane) unless you buy a separate adapter.

Is it safe?

Extremely safe. It features a Magnetic Lock System.

Instead of the old-school "clamp lever," you simply push the gas bottle in, and magnets lock it in place. If the pressure gets too high (e.g., overheating), the Pressure Sensor automatically ejects the canister to prevent explosion.

Does it have a wind shield?

No.

The flame is open. If using it outdoors on a windy day, you will need a separate windscreen, or the flame might blow out.
