Can this generator use propane canisters?

No, it cannot. Due to its internal design, this generator is incompatible with propane canisters and adapters. Please use the recommended isobutane/propane-butane fuel mix canisters for optimal performance.

Can it only be used in an environment of -5℃ to 40℃?

Absolutely not, -5℃ to 40℃ is just the optimal temperature range for our generator.When the temperature drops below -5 degrees Celsius, you can still use it; just warm the gas canisters to above -5℃, and it will function normally. (Heating it in your arms or a warm sleeping bag is also a good way!)

Due to the voltage limitation (Rated voltage is 120±1V), which countries can use it with confidence?

Users in the United States, Canada, and Mexico can all use it with confidence!

Can the Source Gas Generator be used in areas of high altitude？Will it affect its power output generation？

The Source generator is suitable for use in areas up to 3281ft altitude. Altitudes beyond 3281ft will affect the Source's performance in terms of stability, startability and power output.

What type oil does it use?

In terms of oil selection, we recommend using Straight SAE SJ 15W-40.

What do I do if the generator fails to start?

If the generator fails to start, it is important to check that the correct oil is used. It is recommended to add at least 280ml of SAE SJ 15W-40 engine oil to ensure efficient operation.

Will the generator work in the rain/snow?

Never use the generator in a location that is wet or damp. Never expose the generator to rain, snow, water spray, or standing water while in use. Moisture or ice can cause a short circuit which may cause the generator to malfunction.
