Which pot does this fit?

It is designed specifically for the Petrel 750ml (G2) Pot.

Can I boil water with the press installed?

NO.

Safety Rule: Always remove the filter assembly before lighting the stove.
Boil the water first, turn off the flame, add coffee grounds, and then insert the press. Boiling with the press inside can cause dangerous overflow or melt the knob.

Is it hard to clean?

No. A quick rinse immediately after brewing is usually enough.

Will coffee grounds end up in my cup?

A small amount of fine sediment is normal with French press coffee, but the mesh filter blocks most coarse grounds.

Can I use it for tea?

Yes. It also works well with loose-leaf tea.

Why choose this instead of carrying a separate French press?

It lets your existing Petrel G2 pot do double duty, reducing pack space and eliminating the need for an extra brewing device.
