This is a great little warm lamp , so welcome at the end of a long day , uses hardly any gas , best thing I have purchased in long time , leather cover is great too
The construction and quality seem very good, and the whole setup is very light and compact. I haven't tested the burner yet, but the valve turns smoothly and the connection for the fuel can is well-machined and has a fitting o-ring (as well as extras). I don't expect there to be any issues with its function, and I can't wait to finally get to use it.
I bought this for late fall and early spring outings. What sold me was the pressure regulator.
Quality is excellent, it includes the pot stand and canister stabilizer that I had to buy separately with the other system.
The pot is a good sized unit that makes for easy cooking and it will actually boil a liter.
I set it up and did a trial boil and it performed well.
The Polaris will be going with me in late October for a week and I do not foresee any problems when using it.
Very nice. Just grams heavier than my MSR but I don't have to carry an ignition source so it balances out. Love the firemaple pot with the great wind screen.
I finally took some pictures using it! Had a great camp the other day at the beach. This pot is now essential in my “small camp” set of gear. Very light weight! Love the handle design, that it holds the lid on. Lid works great for draining. Gets water boiling quickly! Every set of premade noodles I’ve used in it has fit. Even a set of crab legs, or one cleaned crab goes in (almost).
This is one of those interesting devices that you may not want to take on a through hike where weight is a very important factor, even though it is light weight. However it is a very nice thing for weekend or a short multi day hike or car camping. It is a very relaxing light to sit by and or read a book with. It is a great way to use up your nearly empty gas canister.
I purchased this grill plate for a recent bikepacking trip. I used it atop my Jetboil stove with pot supports. I made a steak and grilled asparagus. I was SO impressed with how well it cooked the steak - it also cooked really quickly. After cooking the steak I threw my asparagus and grilled them in the left over juices from the steak. My buddies were so jealous of how good my food smelled! I am super happy with this purchase!!!
I use the pot for the first time this weekend and it was awesome. Extremely light and super compatible with my fire maple stove. I couldn’t be happier with the size and performance.
Handy little contraption. Seems well built and fairly lightweight. Not a necessity, but nice , to have with me.
Haven't used it yet but I seems really solid for how lightweight it is. Super simple to assemble as well. Maybe a little expensive though? Reguardless its extremely lightweight and compact. Highly reccomend
Awesome stove. So small and light; works great with the fire maple pots.
Overall I like the pot. The only issue I ran into was that when heating up the water, some water would come out the spout. This meant I needed to put a paper towel down on the counter in my trailer.
Great pot, just the right size, great price for a great product. Used hiking the Grand Canyon and the AT. It is has served me well and I am confident it will continue to serve me well into the distant future.
Pot stand for the X series.
Really useful, holds up very well, stores easily. Will probably last a long time
Everything I expected and more. Handy to have in the Badlands this week since no fires are allowed.
The hose that leads to the piece where the flame comes out does not connect correctly. It is not even close. I tired to put gas pipe teflon tape on it and that held for one night before failing.
It is a cool item at a good price and maybe I could use gas pipe glue, weld the pieces together or find a fitting/connector that can bridge the gap.
I thought I was missing a piece and watched a YouTube videos on the product and it looked like the reviewers noticed the issue when they connected the pieces together and it did not stop twisting when it should because the threads are so loose.
They should either make sure the pieces are to spec or just sell it with those two parts pre connected as one inseparable piece.
Perfect for cowboy coffee on open fire handles heat and large capacity for sharing
Works great for me mini tea cake for travel portions, there was an issue with damage on the shipment and the firemaple crew took care of it on the weekend no less, great customer service as usual.
Great bit of kit and perfect size for a brew up of coffee or tea. Will work great in an outdoor kit for quick brew up in da park or in a van down by the river. Cheerz Happy Sippin Peepz!
Very handy for hiking and camping trips for making teas and boiling water.
I've had this little stove for several years, bought when they first came out. Always reliable and works well with my Stanley pot. With the pot, one cup, stove and 110 gram canister makes a great little compact kit.
