What type of fuel does it let me use?

It converts the input from Nozzle-type (Cassette) Butane Canisters (the long aerosol cans shaped like hairspray) to a standard EN417 Lindal Valve output. These canisters are often 1/3 the price of isobutane hiking gas and are easier to find in non-camping stores.

Is it stable enough for cooking?

Yes. The adapter features a low center of gravity and wide, foldable legs made of stainless steel. It supports the weight of the stove and pot (up to approx. 10kg), keeping the setup secure even though the fuel canister lays flat on the ground to the side.

Can I use this in cold weather?

Use with caution. The adapter uses pure butane from the long canisters, which does not vaporize well in temperatures near or below freezing (32°F / 0°C). For winter camping, we recommend sticking to isobutane/propane mixes in standard threaded canisters.
