Yes. The included Star French Press is made to work with the X2 Pro pot, so you can brew French press coffee without carrying a separate press.

Can I boil water with the press installed?

No. Use the regular cooking setup to boil water. Turn off the burner and remove the pot from direct heat before adding coffee and installing the press.

Will the filter remove every coffee particle?

No. It holds back most coarse grounds, but a small amount of fine sediment is normal. Use a coarse grind and press slowly.

How many people is this kit best for?

It is best for solo use or 1–2 person camp coffee setups.
